1.General Overview

SONMAK Diamond Tools warrants all diamond tools against material and workmanship defects for a period of one (1) year from the shipment date to the customer. All laser-welded blades and tips are guaranteed against segment loss due to welding failure. The applicability of the warranty will be determined after the product has been inspected by our product departments.

This Warranty does not apply to parts that have been subjected to misuse or improper service, damaged during shipping or handling, or altered or repaired by unauthorized representatives. This Warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, or accident, or defects arising from or caused by failure to perform reasonable maintenance. The Warranty becomes void if any product or component is altered by the buyer or if the product is used with a tool in a manner not recommended by the manufacturer.

2.Warranty Conditions

Any claim arising from this Warranty must be submitted by the original purchaser within the warranty period specified above and must include proof of purchase. Within the specified warranty period, SONMAK Diamond Tools, at its discretion, will replace or repair any part or component found to be defective by SONMAK Diamond Tools at no charge to the original purchaser. SONMAK Diamond Tools shall not be responsible or liable for freight or other shipping-related costs or expenses in connection with any defective product or component returned to SONMAK Diamond Tools’ facility or any authorized repair station and/or any replacement product or component. The shipment of repaired materials under this Warranty shall be the responsibility of SONMAK Diamond Tools.

Parts and labor required for normal wear and tear maintenance of products and replacement of components are the responsibility of the purchaser and are not covered under this Warranty. All products or components replaced under the warranty become the property of the manufacturer. All replacement parts shall be considered as part of the original product, and any warranty related to such parts shall terminate concurrently with the original Warranty.

3.General Disclaimer of Liability

UNDER THIS WARRANTY, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LIABILITY OF SONMAK Diamond Tools EXCEED THE REPLACEMENT COST OF ANY DEFECTIVE PRODUCT OR COMPONENT, AND SONMAK Diamond Tools SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE NOT EXPRESSLY ACCEPTED HEREIN.

The foregoing constitutes an express warranty regarding the terms set forth above and is the sole warranty or warranties applicable to the products covered, excluding all other warranties, whether expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and/or fitness for a particular purpose or use. This limited warranty expressly supersedes all other warranties, expressed or implied.
